Ask questions about bees, beekeeping, and the lessons of the hive and experience thoughtful discussion connecting the book to everyday life while enjoying light charcuterie and community connection.

It’s time to take a journey through the natural and cultural history of bees, starting a whopping 125 million years ago when a particularly innovative wasp decided to feed pollen to its young. Buzz: The Nature and Necessity of Bees covers everything from honeybees to diggers, miners, leafcutters, and masons, highlighting how bees are at the core of our harvests, mythologies, and even our existence. It’s so un-bee-lievably interesting, you yourself will be doing the honeybee’s waggle dance after reading it!
NOTE: If you are unable to attend the gathering you can still pick up your charcuterie creation anytime this week 10/26-10/31 during our operating hours.
