About this Event

Growing up as a Malaysian, batik has always been a meaningful part of Lumin’s cultural roots. Through this workshop, she invites you to slow down, explore this traditional art form, and experience the joy of creating your very own batik pieces.This workshop is designed for beginners! You will get to explore using a canting to create wax drawings - after that, paint with fabric dye to create your final piece! By the end of the session, you’ll bring home two handcrafted 25 × 25 cm batik fabric artworks that are uniquely yours.
