Gallery Petite is thrilled that Linda is offering her class here! It is a very unique Watercolor Batik class, You’ll learn how to paint on Japanese rice paper also using paraffin wax to create a cool stylized effect with texture and dimensions.
WATERCOLOR BATIK SUPPLY LIST
JAPANESE RICE PAPER and PARAFIN WAX WILL BE SUPPLIED (as well as drawing and other class specific materials and tools )
Please Bring your own:
Watercolor palette with mixing area (paint colors will be red, blue, yellow plus any regular colors on your palette of your choice. We will be painting a floral painting.
Brushes
• Some OLD brushes to be used for wax (small and medium sized cheap brushes)
• Regular watercolor brushes for actual painting (small #6 and medium # 8 or #10 sized brushes)
Water container
Paper Towels
Permanent Black Ink Pen for outlining drawing (fine line not extra fine)
We will take a lunch break so bring your sack lunch and drink, or get something on Main Street.
