Bastrop's Airing of the Quilts

Complementing the museum’s Stitched Exhibit is the Airing of the Quilts a cherished tradition where quilts are aired out not only for spring cleaning but to celebrate their craftsmanship.

Starting the evening of March 7th and going through March 8th community quilts will be showcased at local downtown businesses inviting the community to admire each quilt’s unique beauty and story while also supporting local businesses.

Start at the Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center to pick up your complimentary brochure with each quilt's story and location. The event is free and open to the public.
