Lunch & Learn | Our Pioneer Foremothers

The inaugural Lunch & Learn event is happening March 12th from 12 - 1 pm at the Bastrop County Museum & Visitor Center! This event gives the public access to local historians in an intimate setting chatting about fascinating historical topics. 

To celebrate Women’s History Month local historian and Bastrop County Historical Society member Michal Hubbard will be continuing her presentation on the notable women of Bastrop. March 1st will be her official presentation on a few Bastrop women but there are just too many fascinating women in Bastrop history to leave it at that so she will be returning to kick off the museum’s Lunch & Learn series! Participants can bring their lunch to the Bastrop Museum & Visitor Center and join other history enthusiasts to learn more about Bastrop’s incredible women. The museum will provide beverages and desserts will be provided by local favorite Simply Sweet Cupcakes! The cost is $5 for members and $10 for the public. Tickets can be purchased on the museum website or in-person at the museum.
