Le Quatorze Juilliet, (Bastille Day) is on 14 July – a literal translation.
Peugeot Car Club (Auckland) Inc cordialement invite all owners of les
automibiles francaises to join them on a Fun Filled “aventure” driving our
wonderful cars.
The “Bastille Day Rallye” will be held on Sunday July 12th 2026. It is planned
to assemble at the carpark of Smales Farm, off Northcote Rd on the North
Shore beside/behind what was called the Vodafone building, between 9:45 am
and 10:00 am on that Sunday morning.
Registration before the event is not compulsory, but it would be “formidable” if
you could RSVP to me confirming that you have it in your calendar and plan to
attend.
(please send a text to Donald: 0274 367 605) there is nothing ridiculous like an entry fee.
Une route simplement is planned, and written instructions (en Anglais) will be
provided. We hope to provide a suite of testing questions (en Anglais) that
need to be answered “en route”.
It is planned to depart at 10:00 am, so no stragglers please. The route will
take about 2 hours and will comprise a mix of motorway and easy country
roads. No East African Safari roads, I promise.
If unforeseen circumstances do arise before or during the Rallye, please
phone moi, le cordinateur, at any time so you can catch up. Best number is

The plan is that apres traversing la route, we will arrive at Silverdale between
12 and 12:30 where we can partake of dejeuner at the local French Café,
La France. After all it is Bastille Day.
