The Bass Pro Shops Youth Fishing Open is headed to Cherokee Lake for a full day of fun, friendly competition, and time on the water. And best of all, it’s FREE to enter! We’re bringing together elementary, middle, and high school anglers to learn new skills, reel in great catches, and make unforgettable memories.
🐟 Elementary Division – All about fun and excitement! Young anglers will target bluegill and crappie while building confidence and enjoying the thrill of the catch.
🎣 Middle School Division – Stepping up the competition with bass fishing and a three-fish limit. A great chance to sharpen skills and show what you’ve learned!
🏆 High School Division – Competitive bass action with official weigh-ins and scoring. This is where strategy, teamwork, and technique really shine.
