Come to the Wild Harvest tipi site in the rural outskirts of YORK to learn how to weave a beautiful, useful willow basket in a day. The day starts with a talk all about willow, then you will begin to make the base using a pairing weave. After inserting the uprights we break for lunch (bring a packed lunch).Refreshments are provided.
After lunch we learn a new weave and you begin to weave the walls, finally finishing your basket off with a really fancy border.
Baskets are approx. 1ft in diameter.
