This foundation and basic Pilates mat course is the first step in becoming a comprehensive Pilates teacher! This 100-hour teacher training provides a solid foundation to equip participants to become the best possible mat work teachers. All courses are offered both in-person in studio or online for those based overseas. Lectures are recorded and provide a useful resource for students to review and catch up wherever needed.
Presented by Renee Watson and CME senior faculty, this course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the Pilates Method. Students will learn the Principles and Fundamentals of Pilates, Foundation and Basic Pilates repertoire and use applied anatomy in these respects. Client screening, posture analysis and movement assessments, class design, and teaching skills are taught via assignments and case studies. Other aspects of the course include business development and nutrition assignments. This well-rounded course is internationally portable and equips the learner to become a highly regarded Pilates mat instructor.
