Community-oriented local roaster Barrett’s Coffee to host a special pre-release screening of documentary series “COFFEE The Universal Language, featuring Barrett’s owner Travis Kizer and streaming on PBS and Tubi. Sponsored by Oatly, the screening of Travis’s episode will take place on June 25 starting at 8 p.m. at Barrett’s Too (located at 103 N Loop Blvd E.). There will be a special collaborative oat-milk-based drink available that evening to celebrate the screening. In this second season of “COFFEE The Universal Language,” viewers travel through eight cities across the U.S. Travis was selected to represent the city of Austin. ). The screening and all other upcoming events are free and open to the public. 


In addition to this special screening, Barrett’s will also be hosting family-friendly watch parties for the World Cup soccer games happening this summer at Barrett’s Too starting June 11 through July 19. There will be soccer-related events, food and drink specials, and all ages are welcome to come and watch.
