Gather with friends to sip adult beverages while you create your own miniature barn quilts! You must be at least 21 to attend this workshop.Brandy Bruna, Sunflower Creations MHK, will help us design and paint 12-inch by 12-inch barn quilts. This workshop will give you the skills to create a larger barn quilt. These miniatures are the perfect size for indoor decorating. The workshop will include design inspiration, paints in basic colors, tools to lay out your design, personal instruction, and a lighthearted atmosphere. The completion of your craft will depend on individual time, but you will leave with everything you need to finish your design if time runs out.
Please plan to bring a design, printed out on paper that you would like to create! There are lots of ideas online with a quick search for "barn quilt designs". For this workshop, please avoid circular or wedding ring patterns for your design due to time constraints and complexity.
Pre-registration is required by Friday, January 31 by 12 p.m, online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in person at the Discovery Center.
