Barn Owls - CARRI Summer Speaker Series

This is the fouirth presentation of our Summer Speaker Series.

Members of CARRI have been building and placing nest boxes for Barn Owls in Northern Colorado since 2017. We have almost 40 nest boxes for these birds in Northern Colorado and ten around Austin Texas.

B arn Owls may be the most beneficial birds in the world, as they feed upon hundreds of small mammals each year. These birds will nest in any month of the year and often raise two broods in a summer.

Attendees will learn about the work that we have been doing and will continue to increase Barn Owl numbers in Northern Colorado and Texas.
