Join Knitrino and Magic City Books as we welcome Barbara Kingsolver to Tulsa for a very special event on Saturday, August 1. Barbara will be joined by award-winning journalist Rebecca Nagle for an intimate “In Conversation” discussion.
Conversation begins at 7:15 PM, doors open at 6:15 PM. Come hungry! Tacos & drinks will be available for purchase, as well as access to the book & knitting marketplaces.
Following the talk: Live acoustic songwriter-circle showcasing some of Oklahoma's most resonant Indigenous voices. Tacos and drinks will continue to be available.
This special evening is also a fundraiser. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket will directly benefit Barbara’s charity, Higher Ground, supporting vital community work with women and children.
Please note: There will not be a public book signing at this event. However, Magic City Books, will be on-site with a curated selection of Barbara and Rebecca’s books available for purchase.
