Bar Takeover -Third Culture Kid, Boden Young, & Joy Ting
Third Culture Kid (Loudoun County, VA): The inaugural release of Pawel Podbielski, who has worked in food and wine in Loudoun County for years. Many WFW fans may recognize him as the Tasting Room Manager at Walsh Family Wine. Third Culture Kid represents his interest and activity in wine production in Virginia.
Boden Young (Loudoun County, VA): A small production wine label by winemaker Kent Arendt focusing on fresh, early drinking white wines and red cofermentations from Virginia. Kent has been a mainstay at Bar Takeovers for years, and we are always excited to taste his new vintages.
Joy Ting (Charlottesville, VA): Founded in 2014 and focused on small batch, limited edition, honest wine from the heart of Virginia wine country. Joy Ting is a rockstar of Virginia wine, running the Winemaker's Research Exchange, her own label, and helping to raise the quality of Virginia wines throughout the state.
$30 at the door / $25 in advance (includes full tasting)
