Banned Books Week at Spelled Ink: Let Books Be
About this Event
Celebrate the freedom to read all week long at Spelled Ink!
Banned Books Week 2026 takes place October 4–10, and we're celebrating with a full week of free activities for readers, book lovers, families, and anyone who believes that people should be able to discover their own stories.
Join us at Spelled Ink throughout the week for a little reading, a little creativity, a little friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate books that have been challenged or banned.
This year's Banned Books Week theme is “Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.”
You don't have to attend every event — come to one, come to several, or stop by whenever you can!
