Banging Bordeaux with Matt

Join Matt Stortz for an evening exploring one of Team Cork’s favourite regions: Bordeaux.

We’ll be pulling the cork on two bottles Matt sourced through the Commanderie de Bordeaux, an international group dedicated to the wines, people, and culture of Bordeaux. Expect plenty of stories along the way, along with the kind of first-hand context that makes these bottles even more fun to taste.

We’ll also pour two wines from a new generation of winemakers pushing Bordeaux in fresh directions. Organic farming, less common grape varieties, and a different approach in the cellar are all changing what the region can look like in the glass.

And of course, no Cork Bordeaux tasting would be complete without a few back-vintage bottles from serious estates. We’ve tucked away something special for the occasion.
