This is the second weekend of our Balance in Motion, 4 part Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy Series.
In the the first class weekend we explored the Ayurvedic framework and foundations for the three sessions that follow Then explored the Air + Space (Vata) and experiences such as anxiety, worry, restlessness, dryness or constipation.
This weekend we continue onward with the Fire + Water (Pitta) and patterns of irritability, anger, burnout, or inflammatory imbalances, and Earth + Water (Kapha) and experiences of heaviness, fatigue, stagnation, accumulation, depression or congestion.
We’ll explore these patterns through physical practice, breath, self-inquiry, and discussion, developing practical ways to recognize when something has moved into excess and work with it through the body, mind, and emotional landscape.
