Join us for a hands-on baking workshop where we’ll be learning how to shape your very own traditional sweet braided cake or Babka!
Discover the rich traditions behind this Ashkenazi Jewish delicacy with its roots in Poland and Western Ukraine.
As our babkas bake, we’ll dive into some fascinating stories from the museum’s collection.
You’ll get to take your babka home with you, along with the recipe to make it for all your friends and family.
We will have lots of sweet additions for your babka so you can make it your very own. Come knead, braid, and bake with us for a day of delicious learning and tasty treats!
