This year is our 5th year doing our Bags for Beauties drive. We have collected over 600 makeup size bags and filled them with feminine hygiene products for the local teens in the Wabash Valley. We will be hosting a kick off event in July so stay tuned for the date! Until then you can get a head start and donate using the QR code to the amazon wish list. Our goal this year is to collect enough products to surpass our highest collecting year of 298. We have set the goal to reach 350 bags this year. We will distribute them to the surrounding 5 counties, which is 13 middle and high schools.
Low-income families not only struggle to get food on the table but also supply their girls with supplies needed each month. our mission is to help these girls and supply the school nurse with something they can keep and refill as well. It keeps the product discreet so there is no bullying or stigma when it comes that time of the month. Many of our local nurses are spending their own money to keep these supplies stocked for the girls in their school.
