After exploring Bacton, we’ll journey through peaceful meadows, lanes, and fields, gradually climbing to the remote St. Margaret's Church. As you walk, enjoy the gentle rhythm of the countryside and be immersed in the beauty of these two churches. St. Margaret’s, with its rare surviving rood screen and stunning panoramic views, offers a perfect spot for reflection.
We’ll enjoy a packed lunch at St. Margaret's before continuing our walk along the Herefordshire Trail, passing through high fields with stunning vistas of the river Dore valley. The walk concludes with a return to Bacton along a tranquil lane.
