Backyard Wrestling is a high-energy, genre-blurring musical project out of upstate New York that channels the chaos, humor, and spectacle of its namesake into a loud, anthemic rock experience. Built around larger-than-life personalities and a tongue-in-cheek wrestling aesthetic, the band brands itself as the “Undisputed World Heavyweight Champions of Suplex Rock,” delivering shows that feel equal parts concert and full-contact entertainment.

Formed by Arison Cain and Adam Londraville in Alexandria Bay, NY, the group has built a reputation across New York State for over-the-top live performances, combining classic rock energy with theatrical flair and wrestling-inspired showmanship. Their music leans into big hooks, catchy songwriting, and a playful but earnest spirit that doesn’t take itself too seriously—while still hitting hard when it counts.

Their 2024 full-length album JORTS helped solidify their identity, blending humor and heart with driving rock arrangements and standout tracks that capture their rowdy, tongue-in-cheek aesthetic. The record earned critical attention and even went on to win Best Rock Recording at the 2025 Syracuse Area Music Awards, marking a major milestone for the band’s growing profile.
