🧢 BATTER UP!
"Blood, Sweat, & Pine Tar: The Milwaukee Baseball Saga"
“Buy me some peanuts & Cracker Jacks—I don’t care if I ever get back”… because for one night, Milwaukee baseball history takes center field. Join us in the heart of the historic Menomonee Valley for three fast-paced, story-packed deliveries that bring the city’s diamond legacy to life:
📚 Author Patrick Steele unpacks the rise and fall of the Milwaukee Braves—from 1957 World Series glory to the stunning departure to Atlanta that left a city hurting.
⚾ Step back with Paul H. to Borchert Field, where generations of Milwaukee sports unfolded—from the Brewers of the American Association, to the professional women of the Milwaukee Chicks, to the Negro League Milwaukee Bears, and even the gridiron grit of the NFL Milwaukee Badgers.
🌟 And Wayne L. rounds out the night with the inspiring stories of Milwaukee kids who made it all the way to the Major Leagues—proof that big-league dreams can start right here at home.
👉 Three topics. One city. Tons of baseball lore, a little heartbreak, and lots of hometown pride!
