This season, our (almost) weekly blues social Backroom Blues starts at 21:00. That's HALF AN HOUR EARLIER than usual! It means there will be TWO WHOLE HOURS of energetic jookin’, stylish ballrooming, fast strutting, lazy slow drag, Chicago tripples and sexy fishtails messing around.

Program:
- 19:15-20:15 Beginners Class
- 20:15-21:00 Community Practice Session
- 21:00-23:00 Backroom Blues: We dance to groovy blues tunes played by one of our wonderful DJs!
Support yourself and our beloved community by liking our posts and/or commenting (that really helps spread the message!), inviting your friends through this event, and then just come and dance with us!
You can bring your water bottle, but please get a few drinks from the bar as well. We get the venue for free, let’s show our gratitude by buying their booze.
If you feel like DJ-ing a set, let us know, we will schedule you in.
- Where? De Nieuwe Anita, Frederik Hendrikstraat 111, Amsterdam (past the bar in the back, through the doors and down the stairs)
- When? Every Tuesday, except Oct 7th, Nov 4th & Dec 2nd
- Costs? Our social is donation based (in cash or QR). This will help to cover expenses and organize future activities.
