Poker run in honor of Brantley!5 Poker run stops starting at Doc Enterprises ending at Buchner BBQ in Wellston. All cars & bikes welcome. All money raised will be going to Brantley’s family.

Brantley was born November 5th, 2019 with multiple congenital heart defects. He was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV), and Pulmonary Stenosis. Since birth he has gone under for close to 12 Cath Labs starting at 2 weeks old. We spent the first 3 weeks oh his life in the NICU at OU children’s. At the age of 6 months he under went his first Open Heart Surgery for the GLENN. We had some complications after that with fluid on the lungs. He then went under for his second Open Heart Surgery at the age of 3, they werent able to do the original surgery we had planned and hoped for so they put in a FONTAN which makes him a 1 ventricle heart. In February of 2025 he was diagnosed with Plastic Bronchitis which is VERY rare and VERY dangerous. we were sent to Dallas Children’s for another Cath Lab with the specialist there who studies the Plastic Bronchitis but when they got in they weren’t able to do an intervention like we had hoped as his lymphatic fluid leakage is a lot worse and more complex. He had some major complications after that procedure to where he actually had to be put in a vent and have multiple bronchial scopes to clean out the lymphatic build up (aka cast). However we are in discussion and hopeful that Boston Children’s will be able to do the original Open Heart Surgery they weren’t able to do in 2023 which is called a biventricular repair which will make him a 2 ventricle heart aka a full functioning heart and will eliminate all these complications he is having and will continue to have as long as he has the Fontan. This kiddo LOVES baseball he pours his heart and soul into that sport as it’s the only “contact” sport he is allowed to play. He has been through so much in such a short amount of time. He has a big sister who is a year and a half older than him and they are the best of friends, they both support eachother in all aspects of life. He’s our 1 in 100!
