Join us for a screening of “BACK FOR THE FUTURE”, a powerful documentary film capturing Georgia’s unique folk traditions - practices passed down for centuries, evolving while remaining deeply rooted in daily life.
This remarkable film offers a rare glimpse into the lives of the elders who dedicated themselves to preserving these traditions. Many of them are no longer with us, making this documentary an invaluable tribute to their legacy and the enduring cultural heritage of Georgia.
Following the screening, we will have the special opportunity to meet producer and filmmaker Gia Diasamidze, who will share insights about the film’s creation and the journey of bringing these stories to life.

Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in a Q&A session with the director and creative team, gaining a deeper understanding of the film’s significance and production process.

To make the evening even more special, Zaza Korinteli, Gia Diasamidze, Giorgi Kikvidze, and David Abuladze will perform original songs from the film live, bringing the spirit of Georgia’s folk traditions to life through music.
