Experience Bach’s iconic Brandenburg Concertos as Jopes Orchestra Ensemble return to the Priory this autumn for their annual concert by candlelight. The Brandenburg Concertos are some of Bach's most joyous and inventive pieces, and the candlelit atmosphere in the Priory will make this an evening to remember.The Jopes Ensemble is a handpicked collective of some of the finest professional musicians from across the South West. The group has performed candlelit concerts across Cornwall and Devon for the last three years, and audiences have loved both the quality of playing and the engaging presentational style.

The programme will include:
Brandenburg Concerto No 3 for 10 solo strings
Brandenburg Concerto No 4 for two flutes, violin and strings
Brandenburg Concerto No 5 for harpsichord, violin, flute and strings
Brandenburg Concerto No 6 for two violas and strings.
*Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Wine and soft drinks will be available during the interval*
