B Together: A B Corp Volunteer Day!

In honor of B Corp Month, B Local NYC, in partnership with and sponsored by Prose, is hosting a B Corp Volunteer Day at Materials for the Arts (MFTA)! Join us for a day of giving back alongside fellow B Corps and members of the B Corp community.

This Volunteer Day offers an opportunity to connect with NYC-based B Corps, make a meaningful impact in our community, and showcase the collective power of the B Corp movement. By working together, we’ll not only contribute to a local cause but also reinforce the values that set B Corps apart—social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and a commitment to business as a force for good.

Let's use this event as an oppotunity to collaborate, share ideas, and strengthen the bonds within the B Corp community, all while demonstrating the real-world impact that can be achieved when like-minded businesses unite for a common cause.

MFTA is NYC’s premier creative reuse center, providing donated materials to nonprofits, schools, and artists, helping to reduce waste and support arts education. Together, we’ll roll up our sleeves to help organize and sort materials, ensuring they get into the hands of those who need them most.
