Ayrshire WIA: Calf Health

Ayrshire Women in Agriculture.
This meeting is going to be on calf health at Barneighthill Farm, Mauchline. Barneighthill is a dairy farm milking 160 cows through Fullwood Robots. The Smith family have recently built a new calf shed for their growing herd. We will be looking at their new shed and discussing the reasons for the build and the benefits they have seen so far.

We will have a guest speaker coming along to discuss calf nutrition as well as their farm vet to give an insight on key protocols for better calf health.

So join us on Thursday February 19th at 10:30am. Lunch will be provided making this a great opportunity to learn from industry professionals as well as networking with fellow women in agriculture.
