AYMS LA/ West LA - Cafecito con Cariño

It's the season of giving, Amigas! Join the LA & West LA chapters for our "Amigas Who Help" Campaign! 🧡💛🤎🙏🏽🍁🍂

We'll meet up at La Monarca, a Latine-owned coffee shop in Highland Park for a floral wreath workshop.🍁☕️ A portion of your ticket price will go toward funding the Dinner in the Park initiative with Union Station Homeless Services.

Union Station Homeless Services (USHS) is a nonprofit organization providing food, housing, services, and outreach to families and individuals in need. For over 50 years, USHS has hosted free Thanksgiving dinners for families and individuals throughout LA. They need community support and donations to make Thanksgiving meals possible. This year alone, they need over 750 turkeys!! Every ticket sold for Cafecito con Cariño will fund the purchase of a frozen turkey for USHS's Thanksgiving Dinner in the Park program. 🦃🦃🦃

What to expect:

• We'll have a dedicated section of La Monarca Cafe. Food & drinks are available for purchase from the cafe.
• We'll have a wreath workshop where you will make your fall floral wreath to take home. All materials are provided in your ticket.
• We will use the remaining proceeds of ticket sales to purchase turkeys for USHS. No need to bring a turkey with you!!

Amigas y Más Social – Event Expectations & Disclaimers

By attending any Amigas y Más Social (AYMS) event, you agree to the following policies and expectations:

• Please be courteous to host leads and RSVP only if you are certain you can attend.
• Accurate head counts are essential for planning.
• If you can no longer attend, please cancel at least 48 hours prior to the event.

• AYMS enforces a zero tolerance policy on excessive alcohol consumption.
• Please drink responsibly. Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event and possible suspension from future AYMS activities.

• All event registrations are non-refundable. Once your RSVP is confirmed, cancellations cannot be accommodated Organization Fee

• A small organization fee is included in each event registration to help sustain our community and support future activities. We appreciate your contribution.

• After two no-shows, you will be unable to RSVP for the next AYMS event.
• This policy is in place out of respect for our chapter presidents and members who may miss opportunities to attend due to limited space.

• AYMS is not liable for any incidents, injuries, illnesses, or other occurrences during or after an event.
• All attendees are responsible for their own health, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Any incident must be reported to the event lead within 24 hours of its occurrence to be considered for review.

• The official communication and coordination platform for Amigas y Más Social (AYMS) is our Discord server. Any events, meetups, or gatherings organized outside of Discord are not official AYMS events. AYMS is not responsible or liable for any actions, incidents, or outcomes that occur in separate chats, independent groups, or unofficial gatherings.

  AYMS is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees.

  Sexual harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes unwelcome advances, inappropriate touching, sexual comments, or any behavior that makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

  Consent is mandatory. All physical, verbal, or digital interactions must be mutual and respectful.

  If you experience or witness any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior, please notify an AYMS event lead immediately. We will take your concerns seriously and address them promptly and confidentially.

• AYMS may use these photos and recordings for promotional purposes on social media, websites, and other marketing platforms without compensation.
