Awaken Your Senses: Experiencing Padilla Bay Through Presence

Join us for a gentle, guided exploration of Padilla Bay through mindful observation, sensory awareness, and reflection. Together, we'll slow down, engage our senses, and discover what becomes possible when we pay closer attention to the natural world around us.
We will gather at the upper trail entrance for a leisurely walk, pausing along the way for simple mindfulness practices and opportunities to deepen our connection with the estuary and surrounding landscape.
No previous experience is necessary. Participants should be comfortable walking short distances on established trails.
Your Guide: Kris Layman
Kris is a yoga and meditation teacher, massage therapist, and lifelong lover of nature. For 30 years, she has supported people in slowing down, listening more deeply, and reconnecting with themselves and the world around them. She believes some of life's most meaningful moments arise when we take time to pause, notice, and simply be.
