Autumn to Winter - A Supper Club
About this Event
As autumn gives way to winter, we’re inviting you to slow down, gather around the table and think about what this change of season might mean for us as humans.
Winter asks something different of us. It’s a time for nourishment, rest, reflection and letting go of the idea that we always need to be moving forward. Inspired in part by Katherine May’s Wintering, this evening is an opportunity to explore those ideas over good food, conversation and a shared table.
The menu will be seasonal, comforting and rooted in the transition from autumn into winter — food designed to nourish and reflect the darker, slower months ahead.
This is a genuinely small supper club. There are just six guest places, with the two of us, Andrew and Abbie, joining you at the table for the meal. We want it to feel like being invited into someone’s home for a really good dinner, rather than attending an event.
Abbie brings extensive experience as a chef, qualified nutritionist and coach, with a particular passion for creating food that is both delicious and nourishing. Together, we’ve hosted and run a range of events and gatherings, including our journal club, and love creating relaxed spaces where good food naturally leads to interesting conversation.
Eight people. One table. Seasonal food. Good conversation. A chance to pause before winter arrives.
Come as you are. There’s nothing to prepare — except perhaps yourself for a slightly different kind of evening.
