About this Event
As the days grow cooler and the forest shifts into shades of gold, amber, and brown, autumn invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and settle into a gentler pace.
Join us for a guided Autumn Forest Bathing Walk, designed to help you reconnect with nature and yourself through mindful presence, sensory awareness, and quiet reflection. This immersive experience offers space to step away from everyday busyness and into the steady, grounding atmosphere of the autumn forest, ending with a warming Tea Gathering.
Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)
The walk is guided by a Certified Nature and Forest Bathing Guide and follows the practice of Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing). The walk unfolds slowly, with moments to pause, notice, and take in the forest. You’ll be invited to engage your senses, noticing autumn colours, woodland scents, sounds underfoot, and the quieter details of the season.
These gentle invitations support a sense of calm and presence, allowing you to enjoy being in the forest as it changes through autumn. The experience concludes with a Tea Gathering and light seasonal snacks, offering time to rest and reflect.
On this guided journey, you will:
- Engage your senses through mindful observation of the autumn forest
- Take part in gentle grounding practices that support calm and presence
- Experience the restorative effects of slowing down in nature
- Leave feeling settled, refreshed, and more connected to yourself and the natural world
Tea Gathering
The forest bathing walk concludes with a Tea Gathering, offering time to rest and gently integrate your experience. You’ll be guided through a simple tea ritual, inviting presence, gratitude, and connection.
This part of the experience includes:
- Time to pause and settle after the forest walk
- A mindful tea ritual enjoyed together in nature
- Space for quiet reflection or optional shared conversation
- Light snacks to enjoy
