What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic Dance is a space for free movement without steps to follow, mirrors, or pressure to perform. There’s no talking on the dance floor and no right or wrong way to move. Instead, you’re encouraged to listen to your body, follow your own rhythm, and move in a way that feels good to you. It’s a simple, accessible way to relieve stress, increase body awareness, and connect with yourself and others - no dance experience needed.
Set to a carefully curated musical flow, it creates a space where you can connect deeply with yourself and others, release stress, and experience joy, freedom, and presence. It's not about how you look - it’s about how you feel. Whether you come to dance, heal, play, or just be, all are welcome.
To honour the turning of the season, we gather in movement, intention, and solidarity. Join us for a heart-led evening of ecstatic dance, somatic practice, and collective care - dancing not only for ourselves, but for justice, peace, and healing across borders.
