About this Event

Look and listen for local bird species and discover how migration, behavior, and habitats change with the cooler weather. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced birder, flock together with us for a leisurely bird stroll.

We will meet in the Field 3 Parking Lot of Hempstead Lake State Park. This is a free program. No vehicle fees in effect. Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.

We will be entirely outdoors for this program, please dress accordingly for the weather, and wear closed toed shoes for hiking. Binoculars and field guides will be provided for use. You are welcome to bring a water bottle and a small snack.
