Autism Poker Run on Shoal Creek

We are hosting our second poker run, and our first for 2025! April is autism awareness month, and we are supporting a local school that works with these special young individuals. We will begin at Ward Waterpark (6614 Old Hwy 71, Joplin, MO) and finish at Rivers Bend Family Resort (4041 Hwy NN, Joplin, MO). Buy in will be $10 cash per hand (up to 5 hands per participant). Must be 18+ to play, but all ages welcome to float. There are draw locations along the 7.5 miles of Shoal Creek. If you are playing multiple hands please present the hand to be marked before the draw. We wish to keep this family friendly, and have allowed all day for you to enjoy with plenty of time to make the trip. Card call will be at Rivers Bend Family Resort at 4:00.
You do not need to be present to win a prize this time. All buy-in proceeds will be going to Maddox Hill Behavioral Center in Neosho. Hand prizes are donated from local businesses.
Our event is beginning and ending at two of the area campgrounds, so make a weekend of it and reserve a camping site at either one! We will also be offering shuttle for people before and afterwards to get vehicles where they need to be. We will not be shuttling boats however.
