1. Starting Point – Tipton Ford Public Access 2. Check – in will be at the starting point from 7AM-8AM
3. Fish Caught: Large Mouth, Spotted and Small Mouth Bass only.
4. Take out at Rivers Bend Family Resort LLC by 4PM. Nothing checked in after 4PM will be counted as fish caught.
5. A certified numbered ruler will be given to each paid fisherman upon check-in.
• Fishermen may use their own butt ruler if checked by staff at check-in
• You will take a photo of all the qualifying fish next to the ruler
• The number on the ruler must be in each photo of the fish
• Total length from tail (open) to the front of the fish will be counted as the length of the catch
• We will confirm that your photo was received with a message back to you
• After the photo is taken, you may release the bass
6. Your 5 best fish will be counted
• Artificial bait only
• Each time you catch a fish larger then your smallest we will update the leaderboard
• This tourney will consist of 5 total bass
• The length of the 5 bass will be your total
• There will also be an optional big bass pot ($2 entry)
7. You must be in your kayak while fishing
• You can text a picture of each catch to be added to the leaderboard while on the water
• There will also be checkpoints along Shoal creek for assistance with sending
• You can submit photos when you arrive at Rivers Bend (as long as it is before 4PM)
8. All Missouri State regulations should be followed while on the water.
9. Early entry fee for adults is $20, day of the tournament is $25, CASH ONLY!
• Early entry fees will be paid at Rivers Bend Family Resort
• Day of fees will be paid at Tipton Ford Public Access during check-in
• There will be no refunds for any reason (no exceptions)
10. Kids division is $10 early entry, or $15 day of the tournament.
• Ages 14 and under for kids division
• All kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times
• Kids may also enter the Big Bass Pot for $2
11. Prizes will be awarded every hour to the participants of the tournament
• 1st place will receive a trophy and a cash prize
• 2nd and 3rd place will be given prizes
• 1st place in Kids division will receive a trophy and a cash prize
• 25% of the pot will be donated to Wildcat Glades in Joplin, Missouri
12. You are responsible for following all safety regulations issued by the State of Missouri while kayaking on Shoal Creek as well as fishing licenses. By signing the entry form, you release Rivers Bend Family Resort LLC from any liabilities while participating in the tournament. Participants that cheat or are suspected of cheating will be disqualified. You will also need to abide by all rules and regulations at the campground while on said property.
