About this Event

Autism Awareness and Basic Training Series
Natalie Buerger, PhD, a licensed psychologist and Clinical Director of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic at Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI) at the University of Utah, will kick off a three-part Autism Training Series with Autism Awareness and Basic Training.
In this introductory session, participants will gain a foundational understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including:
What Autism is and how it is diagnosed
Common characteristics of individuals on the autism spectrum
Key differences in how autism may present in boys and girls
The importance of early identification and support

Dinner will be provided
