Come play in a friendly-but-competitive American Mahjong tournament!
This is meant to be a fun evening of Mahj, food, drinks, and just enough competition to make things interesting.
Snacks and dinner will be provided - bring your own drink!
This tournament is for you if: you know the National Mahjong League rules, can read the National Mahjong League card, and can play three games in one hour. (this is not a tournament for beginners)

HOW IT WORKS
We’ll play 4 rounds of Mahjong, with 4 games per round. Everyone plays the entire tournament — no elimination!
Round 1: Random Draw
Everyone starts at a randomly assigned table. Your score establishes your initial ranking.
Rounds 2 & 3: Move & Mix
Tables are reshuffled based on performance, so as the tournament goes on you’ll play people performing at a similar level. Win your table and you may move up; have a rough round and you may get relegated.
Round 4: The Showdown
After three rounds, we’ll post the leaderboard and seed the final tables. The top four players face off at the Championship Table, while everyone else keeps playing in their own final matchup.
Your points accumulate throughout the tournament — so a comeback is always possible.
