Private equity ghouls bought them with other people's money, sold the assets, destroyed the products, and took off for the Hamptons with their ill-gotten gains to do it again to your favorite sports franchise or local newspaper.
In our opening author event at Rumspringa Books, Megan Greenwell will be joining to discuss her new book, Bad Company. Megan is the former editor-in-chief of Wired and Deadspin and witnessed firsthand the utter destruction that ensues when a bunch of Gold Coast schmucks with zero first principles get way too much debt-based capital.
