Authentic Relating Touch and Talk
Body Awareness and Communication Workshop
Most of us aren't great at saying what our bodies actually need, or where our limits are. Led by licensed massage therapist Katie Kevorkian, this workshop gives you a clear, structured setting to practice stating your boundaries, receiving hands-on group bodywork on your terms, and leaving relaxed.
What we'll do
Connection exercises: simple, structured games to help you get comfortable speaking candidly with others.
Group bodywork: practice giving and receiving in small groups, with clear boundaries and full control over your experience.
Boundary practice: get comfortable stating your limits, asking for what feels good, and being heard without judgment.
Community: a relaxed, no-pressure space to unwind and meet people in the area.
Logistics
Doors open at 6:30 PM for light snacks and to settle in. The workshop runs 7:00 to 9:00 PM, and doors lock at 7:05 PM.
Cost: $20 total. Bring a friend for free (two people for $20).
Limited to 20 people.
What to bring
Comfortable clothes (yoga gear, hoodies, sweatpants, or blankets), any massage tools you like to use, and snacks or drinks if you want them. Basic refreshments are provided.
Registration
To hold a spot or ask questions, contact Katie Kevorkian at 617-329-1573 or [email protected], or Michael Parrinello at 978-401-1067.
