The stakes just hit a new high. On March 04, 2026, the Austin Poetry Slam takes over the Barrel O’ Fun for the 4th Quarter Finals. This is an elite, closed-list competition featuring only the poets who have ground out the points and earned their spot throughout the season.

Hosted by Mr. Dave, the night is a high-octane sprint for post-season glory. The energy is intense because the rewards are real: 2nd place walks away with a guaranteed slot on the Semi-Final stage, while the 1st place winner punches their direct ticket to the Grand Slam.
