I've come to love group matchplay tournaments using The Price is Right rules. It's so much fun, the camaraderie is fantastic, and it's a perfect environment for pros and beginners to play together.
For my birthday, I'd love to bring my friends together for a Saturday matinee. Pinball pros and robot rookies both!
The tournament starts at 1:30. We'll play ~3 hours of "qualifications," followed by some sort of elimination bracket. Sound too competitive or too much of a time commitment? Fear-not! Play for as little or as long as you want during the 3 hours. We can add you in mid-tournament, no sweat.
At the conclusion of qualifications, a handful will go on to an elimination bracket playoff!
