Purdue Homesteaders and Artisan Day! - The Farm at Prophetstown is the perfect setting to learn about homesteading arts and animal husbandry; after all, that’s how things were done on a 1920s Farm. Join The Farm and Purdue University for classes related to homesteading. Topics may include beekeeping, raising chickens, growing heirloom apples, blacksmith basics, Horse Care, raising beef cattle and more. Browse and purchase fine arts and crafts, all while enjoying the beautiful farm setting. This event is free with park admission, and delicious food will be available for sale with live music. Don't miss this opportunity to support local artists and enjoy a day of creativity and fun! Entry is FREE with park admission; a few classes have a small fee.
