Join us for Shea Cheese Lounge Cookbook Club on Sunday, August 23rd, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Shea Cheese Lounge (right next to Shea Cheese).

We're cooking from Baking & the Meaning of Life by Helen Goh (from the publisher): Baking and the Meaning of Life by acclaimed pastry chef and psychotherapist Helen Goh—co-author of Sweet and long-time Ottolenghi recipe developer—is a debut solo cookbook exploring how baking cultivates joy, community, and purpose. Published by Abrams Books, it features 100 sweet and savory recipes alongside her reflections on living well.

Here's how it works: Choose a recipe from Baking & the Meaning of Life that speaks to you, make it, and bring it to share. We'll eat together, talk about what we cooked (the triumphs, the surprises, the "I'd do this differently next time"), and discuss the book itself.

Along with your dish, bring your own plate and fork (the fewer dishes, the better).
