August Cookbook Club

Each month we pick a cookbook, and you pick a recipe from that book that you want to try your hand at. On book club day, each attendee will bring a dish to pass, dinner party style. There are few things better in life than gathering in community over good food and even better conversation, and we can't wait to host you!

Our pick for this month is Measure with Your Heart by Hannah Taylor, the New York Times bestselling debut cookbook from the Georgia-based creator behind @LilyLouTay. Warm, unfussy, and deeply Southern, it's 100 recipes built around the philosophy that home cooking is less about precision and more about instinct, love, and having fun — think fried chicken, ham hock stew, and homemade kitchen staples made entirely from scratch. Come ready to share what you cooked, what you loved, and what you'd do differently.

Once registration fills up, we'll send out a follow-up email with a form for each attendee to fill out so we can ensure a wide range of recipes are brought to the literal and figurative table on the day of the event.

Tickets are $20, and you'll receive a $10 credit to use in store (valid on book club day only). Your ticket price includes free table wine, sparkling water, and the cozy dinner party atmosphere of your dreams.
