This practical and inspiring session will challenge the traditional way we think about collaboration and demonstrate how sharing people, skills, spaces and partnerships can multiply impact across our communities.
Facilitated by Megan Smith, our panel features:
⭐ Michelle Faithfull – Home in Place / Hunter Homeless Connect
⭐ Alex Rees – Chairperson, REACH Homeless Services
Together, they'll share real-world examples of collaboration in action.
Home in Place has invested dedicated human resources to coordinate and strengthen Hunter Homeless Connect, creating the capacity to bring together hundreds of organisations each year in support of people experiencing homelessness and hardship.
REACH Homeless Services has built an impressive network of corporate partnerships, shared community spaces and donated resources, demonstrating how creativity, relationships and community goodwill can expand services without significantly increasing costs.
Together, we'll explore:
✔️ Reducing duplication of services
✔️ Sharing people, skills and expertise
✔️ Building micro-alliances for greater impact
✔️ Unlocking corporate and community resources
✔️ Creating better outcomes through collaboration—not competition
Whether you're from the community, government or corporate sector, you'll leave with practical ideas to help your organisation do more by working together.
