Support Black Businesses at The Black Market!
Did you know only 4% of Black-owned businesses survive the startup stage, even though 20% of Black Americans become entrepreneurs?We're changing that — one marketplace at a time.
Join us for The Black Market by Black Owned NWA, a boutique-style expo celebrating Black Business Month 2025. Presented in partnership with Blackground Agency, this vibrant, community-centered event will take place at The Record in Bentonville and feature 40+ local Black-owned brands, food vendors, music, and giveaways — all in a dynamic, daytime shopping experience.
Vendor Booth Fee (Non-Refundable):
- For-Profit Businesses: $200
- Non-Profit Organizations (501c3): $100
- Late Registration Fee: Additional $25 applies after August 2nd
Each Booth Includes:
- 10’ x 10’ Space
- 1 Table (6 ft.)
- 1 Black Tablecloth
- 2 Chairs
- Food Trucks: Dedicated outdoor space
Important Registration Details:
- Deadline to Apply: August 2nd, 2025, at midnight (No exceptions or extensions)
- Booths are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis
- Waitlist will be activated once vendor spots sell out
- Final confirmation will be sent via email upon approval
Vendor Set-Up:
- Saturday, August 16: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- All vendors must be fully set up by 10:30 AM
- Event Hours: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Vendors must remain set up until the event ends
Vendor Guidelines:
- One business per booth; no MLMs, campaign booths, or political orgs
- Business name must match application and signed agreement
- Vendors are responsible for sales tax, cleanup, and personal setup
- Limited space — no booth sharing allowed
