Auditions - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Stained Glass Theatre Joplin will hold open auditions for "The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe", on July 6th and 7th, 2026. "The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe" is dramatized by Joseph Robinette, from the story by C. S. Lewis. Directed by Matthew and McKenna Hayes. This show has roles for all age ranges, with the potential for a large cast.
Please arrive at 6pm to fill out audition forms, auditions will begin at 6:30pm.
You may attend one or both nights of auditions.
Auditions will be a cold-read that the directors have selected from the script. This production is NOT a musical.
Performance dates will be August 20th-23rd, and August 27th-30th, 2026.
C. S. Lewis’s story follows four children who discover the magical land of Narnia through a wardrobe in an old English house. There, they befriend oppressed creatures living under a wintry curse and help restore hope by supporting the return of the rightful ruler, Aslan. The tale centers on a battle between tyranny and freedom, highlighting themes of courage and the fight to bring back peace and summer.
