Director Mel Agar is looking for five men and four women age 16+. Auditioners should expect to do cold readings from the script and come prepared with 16 bars of a song of their choice. There will not be a dance element. Auditions will be at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 S. Seminary Street, Galesburg.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss and a score by William Finn, tells the tale of socially awkward youngsters finding joy, heartache, and a purpose in competing at the regional spelling bee.
