Little Theatre of Watertown is pleased to announce auditions for The Stranger by Agatha Christie. Auditions are July 27-28, 2026 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Strand Theater (136 Franklin Street, Watertown).
The Stranger is an intimate, fast-paced psychological thriller that follows Enid, a young woman who abruptly breaks off her engagement to her reliable fiancé after falling head-over-heels for a charming and mysterious newcomer named Gerald. Looking for a fresh start, Enid and Gerald move to a remote, isolated country cottage.
However, the romance quickly sours as Gerald's behavior grows increasingly erratic and controlling. Cut off from the outside world, Enid begins to uncover terrifying truths about her new husband's past—culminating in a dark, breathless, and suspenseful battle of wits.
AUDITION DETAILS: Four (4) female identifying actors: Two (2) aged 20 & up and two (2) aged 25 to 40, and two (2) male identifying actors aged 30-45.
